Kim has worked as a massage therapist, shiatsu therapist and teacher for over twenty years. She has co-owned two therapeutic clinics and taught at the Shiatsu School of Canada. She continues to lead a variety of health workshops and has been serving as a meditation guide for many years. Her former career as a dancer and choreographer gave her a solid understanding of how the body heals itself and the steps needed for recovery.

Kim is thrilled to be a part of Eco Wisdom Forest Preserve's team working as a facilitator, trainer and research assistant. We promote the myriad benefits of mindful nature connection for people with disability and/or fatigue.

She is excited to be here sharing a wealth of self-care treatments, influenced by her background in Eastern and Western medical theories, on her blog. Kim is inspired by the continuing research into pain, neuroscience and the resulting practical applications for better physical, emotional and mental health.
